Introduction Grand Mere State Park is characterized by magnificent sand dunes, deep blowouts and one mile of Lake Michigan shoreline. Three inland lakes lie behind the dunes in the undeveloped natural area.

Location Take I-94 south of St. Joseph to exit 22. Go west a quarter mile to Thornton Drive, and go south on Thornton Drive a half mile.

Directions

I-94 to Exit 22, John Beers Rd., South to Thornton Dr., to entrance.
